Job Description

Little Learners is looking for a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Part-Time Childcare Teacher to join our team! We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with children and wants to help create a safe, loving, and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and have fun. As a Childcare Teacher, you will work alongside our team to provide quality care, lead age-appropriate activities, and build positive relationships with children and their families. Responsibilities Provide attentive, hands-on care and direct supervision of children Help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment Assist with daily classroom activities, routines, meals, nap time, and transitions Plan and participate in age-appropriate activities that support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development Encourage positive behavior and help children develop appropriate social skills Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom Communicate professionally and positively with parents, coworkers, and the Director Follow all center policies and Nebraska childcare licensing requirements Work as part of a team to ensure children receive consistent, high-quality care Attend required staff meetings and training as needed Qualifications Previous experience working with children is preferred Experience with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, or school-age children is a plus A genuine love for working with children Dependable, responsible, and punctual Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to maintain a positive and patient attitude in a busy childcare environment Ability to follow safety procedures and childcare regulations Knowledge of child development and appropriate classroom practices is preferred First Aid and Pediatric CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain Must be able to meet all applicable childcare licensing requirements, including background check and required training What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is kind, patient, dependable, energetic, and willing to jump in wherever needed.
