Duties Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans tailored to early childhood development standards, including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Facilitate age-appropriate lessons and activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth for preschool and toddler-aged children. Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement strategies and effective classroom management techniques to ensure a safe and nurturing environment. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones to foster strong home-school connections. Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools and early intervention strategies to monitor each child's progress and tailor instruction accordingly. Maintain accurate records of attendance, developmental progress, incident reports, and compliance with mandated reporting laws. Ensure safety by adhering to first aid and CPR protocols while promoting health practices within the classroom setting. Requirements Proven experience working with young children in educational or childcare settings such as daycare, preschool, or private schools. Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques. Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; ongoing training in child welfare and safety standards is preferred.
