The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment that fosters the intellectual and emotional growth of each child ranging from 6 months to 5 years old. Responsibilities Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages participation and engagement. Effectively manage classroom behavior to promote respect and cooperation among all children. Foster positive relationships with children to support their emotional and social development. Manage diaper changes, feeding times and hygiene practices for all children. Maintain a neat and organized classroom by wiping tables, sweeping and cleaning up toys. Greeting parents during pick-up times with a professional and friendly demeanor. Requirements High school Diploma or GED. Experience working with children in a daycare setting. Available Monday through Friday 1:30PM to 6:00PM. Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of students and staff.
