The teacher's primary role is to implement the state-approved curriculum, evaluate the development of each student, and customize lesson plans to meet the needs of all students. The ideal candidate should hold a P-3 Certificate of Eligibility or a P-3 teacher certificate and must be able to pass fingerprinting and abuse record checks. Proficiency in Teaching Strategies Gold, Creative Curriculum, and fluency in Spanish would be considered advantageous, as well as being able to pass fingerprinting and abuse record checks. Experience with Teaching Strategies Gold, Creative Curriculum, and fluency in Spanish will be a plus.
