Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and respectful interactions among children. Manage daily classroom activities, including lesson planning, behavior management, and classroom organization to ensure smooth operations. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children's progress, milestones, and any concerns to foster strong partnerships. Conduct assessments aligned with early childhood education standards and utilize standardized testing when appropriate to monitor developmental progress. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation of child welfare and incident reports. Lead activities that support physical development, including experience teaching physical education and toddler care practices. Skills Extensive knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies. Prior experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, including classroom management and behavior management techniques. Strong curriculum development skills with the ability to design creative lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math fundamentals, and social-emotional learning. Excellent communication skills for effective parent communication and team collaboration. Familiarity with preschool teaching standards, mandated reporting laws. Ability to adapt instruction for children with special needs or developmental delays while maintaining a positive learning environment. Competence in working within private school or daycare environments with a focus on childhood welfare and safety protocols.
