Job Description
Are you looking for part-time or near full-time weekday hours? Are you available at least 2-5 full weekdays Monday through Friday? If you answered yes to both questions, please read the description below before applying. We are currently seeking qualified candidates to provide in-home child care services throughout Morris, Somerset, and Sussex County areas. We provide on-call backup care for families in their homes. Job Details Assignments typically range from 4-10 hours per day and 3-5 days per week Schedules and family assignments may vary from week to week Expected hours are generally between 15-30 hours per week, depending on your flexibility and willingness to accept assignments Monday-Friday availability is required Job Duties Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children Engage children in fun and age-appropriate activities Care for infants, including feeding, diapering, and dressing Prepare healthy meals and snacks Encourage healthy habits and assist with hygiene and toilet training Perform light household duties such as dishes, children's laundry, and toy cleanup Assist with homework when needed Requirements Minimum 2 years of childcare experience with infants through elementary-aged children Reliable transportation to travel to assignments Availability for at least 2-5 weekdays; wider Monday-Friday availability will provide more assignment opportunities Availability between 8am-6pm or 9am-5pm is strongly preferred Must be willing to be auto-staffed based on availability and preferences Dependable and punctual CPR and First Aid Certified (or willing to become certified) Verifiable work references required Benefits Paid vacation and sick time Employee referral bonus program Pay advance options
