• East Brunswick is seeking a caring and energetic Lead Teacher to join our early childhood education team and lead a classroom of 2-year-old children.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced daycare or preschool teacher who enjoys helping young children build language, independence, confidence, and social skills. You'll create a structured and nurturing classroom where children learn through play, exploration, and positive relationships. Key Responsibilities Lead daily classroom routines and learning experiences for 2-year-old children Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum Create engaging activities through art, music, movement, sensory play, stories, and hands-on learning Support language, cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development Encourage independence, self-help skills, and positive peer interactions Support meals, diapering/toileting, rest time, outdoor play, and transitions Maintain consistent classroom routines and positive behavior guidance Observe children's development and maintain required classroom documentation Build strong relationships and communicate regularly with families Collaborate with Assistant Teachers and center leadership Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom Follow New Jersey childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Previous daycare, preschool, childcare, or early childhood education experience preferred Experience working with toddlers or 2-year-old children strongly preferred Previous Lead Teacher or classroom leadership experience is a plus CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus Patient, nurturing, dependable, and energetic Strong classroom management and communication skills Ability to meet New Jersey childcare licensing requirements What We Offer Competitive pay of $17
