NAME OF POSITION
Early Head Start Classroom Substitute Location:
Flemington, NJ Hours- as needed, not to exceed 8 hours a day $17.28-$19.59 Job Overview We are a fast-paced and high-demand, non-profit program that depends on everybody in every position to help our centers function with ease. You will gain diverse experience working with an at-risk population. Responsibilities and Duties Assist classroom staff in maintaining a safe, clean, and healthy environment for children and staff. Support classroom activities and lesson implementation. Promote positive child interactions and development. Assist with daily routines and caregiving tasks.
Qualifications Minimum Education Level:
High school diploma working towards CDA to be completed within two years of hire.
Preferred Education Level:
Child Development Associate (CDA)- Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field.
Experience :
Experience working with young children.
Preferred Experience:
2 years' experience in early childhood education and direct experience with at-risk population, Head Start experience.
