In this role, you will create a warm, engaging classroom environment that promotes early childhood development, literacy, social skills, and a love of learning. Responsibilities Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and positive behavior management. Plan engaging lessons and activities tailored to the developmental needs of toddlers and preschoolers. Monitor and assess each child's progress. Manage classroom routines efficiently to ensure smooth transitions between activities while maintaining discipline and fostering respectful interactions.. Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Experience in curriculum tailored for preschool-aged children. Classroom management skills that promote positive behavior and a nurturing learning environment. Ability to work effectively with children. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and external specialists such as speech therapists or special educators. Experience in daycare or private school settings is advantageous; certification in early childhood education is highly desirable. Teaching Certification required.
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
