Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Assistant Director for our Child Care Center to lead and inspire early childhood education programs. In this vital role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with educational regulations, and foster a nurturing environment that promotes childhood development. Your leadership will drive curriculum excellence, manage staff, and support strategic initiatives that enhance the quality of care and education provided to young learners. Duties Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement innovative curriculum plans aligned with best practices in childhood development and early education standards. Lead and supervise teaching staff, ensuring high-quality instructional delivery, ongoing professional development, and adherence to educational policies. Manage operational aspects of the center, including budgeting, resource allocation, and maintaining compliance with licensing regulations and educational laws such as special education law. Facilitate staff evaluations, provide coaching, and promote a culture of continuous improvement through faculty development initiatives. Oversee fundraising efforts and community engagement activities to support program sustainability and expansion. Develop strategic plans for program growth, community outreach, and enhancing educational quality. Ensure the center maintains a safe, inclusive environment that complies with all legal requirements related to early childhood education and school administration. Requirements Proven experience in school administrative leadership or as a school director within early childhood or K-12 settings. Strong background in curriculum development, instructional leadership, and classroom management in early childhood education. Extensive knowledge of educational compliance standards, legal regulations including special education law, and school operational policies. Demonstrated success in managing budgets as an executive education administrator along with experience in fundraising and strategic planning. Supervisory experience overseeing school staff, facilitating professional development sessions, and conducting faculty evaluations. Excellent communication skills suitable for public speaking, team leadership, and community engagement. Familiarity with managing personnel in educational settings and ensuring adherence to childhood development best practices. Pay:
$30,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
