This full-time or part-time role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire young learners, foster their developmental growth, and create a nurturing classroom environment. As a Preschool Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for designing engaging lesson plans, implementing age-appropriate curriculum, and building strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues. We are looking for Educators. Duties Develop and implement dynamic, developmentally appropriate curriculum tailored to preschool-aged children, incorporating literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning. Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that promotes exploration, independence, and positive behavior management. Plan and execute daily lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards and individual student needs. Foster open communication with parents and guardians through regular updates on child progress, behavior, and classroom activities. Support children's social-emotional development by modeling positive interactions, managing behaviors effectively, and encouraging cooperation. Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations Collaborate with admin to assess student progress using standardized testing methods and adapt teaching strategies accordingly. Requirements Proven experience working with young children in a preschool or daycare setting; classroom experience is essential. BA or MA degree preferred. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and early intervention strategies. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training in child welfare practices is preferred. Experience in managing challenging behaviors with preschoolers and toddlers. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members. Familiarity with behavior management techniques, classroom management strategies, and special education accommodations. Ability to plan lessons that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, physical activity, and social skills development.
