Position Summary The Teacher Liaison is an experienced early childhood educator who serves as a mentor and support for our teaching team. This individual helps maintain high-quality classrooms, encourages best teaching practices, and works collaboratively with the Director to ensure children, families, and staff receive exceptional care and support. This is an ideal opportunity for a Lead Teacher who is ready to take the next step in their professional growth while remaining connected to the classroom. Responsibilities Mentor and support classroom teachers. Model positive classroom management and effective teaching practices. Assist with onboarding and training new staff. Help ensure classrooms remain organized, engaging, and licensing compliant. Provide classroom support and coverage as needed. Encourage developmentally appropriate practices and meaningful learning experiences. Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff. Collaborate with the Director to improve classroom quality and teacher success. Support special events, staff meetings, and professional development initiatives. Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a positive attitude. Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a licensed childcare center. Previous Lead Teacher experience preferred. Knowledge of New Jersey childcare licensing regulations. Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills. Passion for mentoring and supporting fellow educators. CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain). Ability to pass a background check and fingerprinting.
