In this role, you will support the development and well-being of young children by assisting lead teachers in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster positive growth, social skills, and early learning experiences for children in our care. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in children's lives while gaining valuable classroom experience. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate educational activities that promote childhood development and learning. Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, ensuring their safety and engagement at all times. Support children with daily routines such as meal times, diapering, toileting, and nap schedules with patience and care. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity. Follow all health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures and mandated reporting laws related to child welfare. Support classroom management strategies that promote positive behavior and social interaction among children. Skills Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings. Knowledge of childhood development principles and child supervision techniques. Certification in first aid, CPR, and pediatric first aid is highly desirable. Familiarity with special education needs and experience working with children with disabilities is a plus. Strong communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration. Classroom management skills to create a structured yet flexible learning environment. Ability to handle caregiving tasks such as infant care, toddler care, and behavior management with patience and professionalism.
