Job Description
Job Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Part Time Preschool Floater! In this dynamic role, you will serve as a versatile and enthusiastic team member, providing essential support across preschool classrooms to ensure a nurturing, engaging, and well-managed environment for young learners. Your energy and flexibility will help maintain high-quality care and education, fostering positive experiences for children, families, and staff alike. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to early childhood development while gaining valuable classroom experience. Hours are Monday through Friday, 1:00-6:00. This is a permanent position Duties Assist lead teachers with daily classroom activities, including lesson implementation and child engagement Support various classrooms by covering for staff absences or during transitions to ensure seamless continuity of care Help with curriculum development and adapt lesson plans to meet the diverse needs of children, including those requiring special education or early intervention services Promote positive behavior management strategies and effective classroom management techniques to foster a safe and respectful environment Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and daily experiences to build strong partnerships Support classroom routines such as snack time, nap time, and outdoor play, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards including first aid and CPR protocols Contribute to documentation related to child development assessments, standardized testing preparations, and mandated reporting laws Experience Prior experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is highly preferred Familiarity with behavior management techniques and classroom management strategies Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members in a professional manner Previous experience teaching physical education or math concepts to young children is advantageous Join us in shaping the future by inspiring curiosity, fostering growth, and creating joyful learning experiences!
