Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans focused on literacy, math, and social-emotional development. Support classroom management by supervising children during activities, transitions, and outdoor play to ensure safety and positive behavior. Help facilitate inclusive learning experiences for children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities or autism. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment aligned with educational compliance standards such as the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and daily activities to foster strong partnerships. Utilize educational technologies and computers to enhance learning experiences for young children. Follow health and safety protocols including first aid and CPR procedures to ensure a secure environment for all students. Experience Prior experience working with children in early childhood education settings or childcare environments is highly preferred. Demonstrated classroom experience with young learners, including behavior management and classroom behavior regulation techniques. Knowledge of childhood development principles and teaching strategies tailored to early learners. Experience collaborating with teachers and mentoring new staff members to promote team cohesion. Familiarity with special education practices, including working with individuals with disabilities or autism. Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration. Ability to operate educational technologies and computers effectively within a classroom setting.
