Job Description The Raritan Bay Area YMCA is seeking a caring and dedicated Preschool Teacher with a NJ P-3, CE, or CEAS certification. Join our team in Perth Amboy, NJ, five miles from New York City, serving a community of 6,000+ members through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility programs. The RBAYMCA's Preschool operates in collaboration with the Perth Amboy, New Jersey Board of Education and currently serves children through five classrooms, delivering a high-quality, developmentally appropriate educational experience. Qualifications Experience teaching Pre-K children; preferably in a daycare or early childhood, classroom setting. Current certifications in CPR, First Aid, and AED, or willingness to obtain them immediately upon hire. Essential Functions Lead age-appropriate lesson plans and activities. Create a safe, nurturing classroom environment. Supervise and engage children, ages 3-5. Build strong relationships with children, families, and team members. Track and communicate children's progress. Promote inclusion and model YMCA core values. Required Certifications Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education (or related field) with NJ P-3, CE, or CEAS certification.
