Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Daycare Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment where young children can explore, learn, and grow. Duties Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans tailored to the developmental needs of children, including preschoolers and toddlers Foster a safe, inclusive, and welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independence Manage daily classroom activities, including lesson planning, circle time, play-based learning, and physical activities such as early childhood education exercises Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones Apply behavior management strategies to promote positive social interactions and address behavioral challenges effectively Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and safety regulations, including first aid and CPR procedures Support children's individual needs through specialized interventions such as early intervention techniques or special education accommodations when necessary Skills Extensive experience working with children in daycare or preschool settings, demonstrating strong classroom management skills Knowledge of child development principles, childhood development stages, and age-appropriate teaching methods Proficiency in curriculum development, literacy education, math instruction, and Montessori or other specialized educational approaches Ability to plan lessons that incorporate standardized testing preparation and physical education activities Excellent communication skills for effective parent communication and teamwork with colleagues Experience with behavior management strategies to foster positive behavior in young children Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety regulations Certification in first aid and CPR; experience working with children with special needs or in early intervention programs is a plus Strong organizational skills for lesson planning, classroom setup, and maintaining accurate records of student progress Join us in shaping the future by providing high-quality care and education to our youngest learners!
