We are seeking passionate, caring, and skilled Full-Time Lead, Primary and Part-Time Assistant Teachers to work in a our Infant, Toddler and Preschool & Kindergarten classrooms. Full time candidates must be able to work a rotating schedule of 7:30am-3:30pm and 10:00am-6:00pm. Part-Time candidates must be able to work either 8:00am-12:00pm or 1:00pm-5:30pm.
Summary of Positions:
1) Lead Teachers work with classroom Primary Teacher to provide developmentally appropriate activities for the children using the Creative Curriculum program, collect data, and assess children.
Responsibilities:
Build responsive relationships with children Understand and assist in using developmentally appropriate practice Build positive relationships with families Demonstrate appropriate interactions with coworkers Maintain professional standards Ensure the health and safety of all children
Qualifications:
CDA or Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field with a willingness/plan to continue education
Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education 5+ years experience in NAEYC accredited center 2) Primary Teachers work with the classroom Lead Teacher to provide developmentally appropriate activities for the children using the Creative Curriculum program, collect data, and assess children. Partners with Lead Teacher to provide parents with daily reports using online tracking systems.
Responsibilities:
Work with Lead Teacher to develop and implement lesson plans Use developmentally appropriate, intentional teaching through Creative Curriculum Maintain health and safety of each child Assist Lead Teacher in collecting documentation and assessments to complete portfolios and reports Serves as Lead Teacher when Lead Teacher is absent
Qualifications:
2 years of childcare experience OR college credits toward education with a willingness/plan to continue education and enrolling in a CDA program in the next 6 months
Preferred:
CDA, AA or BA in Early Childhood Education or a related field 3) Assistant Teachers take initiative in classroom activities and duties, work collaboratively with Lead and Primary teachers, intentionally interacting with children in various activities.
Responsibilities:
Prepare breakfast or afternoon snack Change diapers and feed infants (depending on program) Follow the Creative Curriculum lesson plans as directed Work collaboratively with classroom staff Follow direction and safety protocols
Follow Developmentally Appropriate Practice Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Higher 1-2 years experience working with children in a childcare setting across ages
Preferred:
2 years or more experience working with children CDA or enrolled in CDA program All ECYC Teachers, regardless of their role, should be prepared to: Manage all aspects of daily classroom life, including health and safety of all students, establishment of comfortable classroom routines and transitions, and implementation of child-centered, developmentally appropriate, emergent curriculum that excites children about learning and prepares them for the next step in their education. Plan and implement activities to support and foster positive self-esteem, social skills, developmental growth, and independence for all students. Observe and record children's progress, behavior, growth, and development on a regular and ongoing basis. Work collaboratively with teaching team, administrators, specialists, and consultants. Actively participate in all team meetings, staff meetings, professional development days, teacher trainings, and workshops.

$15.95 - $23.00 per hour
