Minimun of (6) Early Childhood Credits, or Infant/Toddler CDA, or Associate's Degree Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their development through engaging activities and individualized attention. This role requires a commitment to promoting the social, emotional, and cognitive growth of preschool-aged children. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with Creative Curriculum educational standards. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all students. Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians. Facilitate daily activities that promote physical, social, and emotional development. Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement strategies. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience. Maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities. Skills Experience working with students in a preschool or childcare setting. Knowledge of child development principles and practices. First aid certification is preferred; infant care experience is a plus. Familiarity with special education practices is beneficial. Strong behavior management skills to maintain a positive learning environment. Experience in toddler care is advantageous. Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and staff. Ability to create an interactive classroom atmosphere that encourages exploration and learning.
