Our innovative, private Early Childhood Learning Center in Ridgewood, NJ is seeking a full-time , year-round Preschool Co-Teacher who is ready to take that next step. Great professional opportunity for a candidate who is feeling stuck in place at their current preschool, a returning-to-work teacher, a paraprofessional educator, an assistant teacher ready to take the next step in their career OR a recent college graduate with some previous experience working with preschoolers in a professional setting! We offer a friendly working environment & on-going professional development , with opportunities to grow your caree r. The successful candidate will be key member of a classroom teaching team delivering a hands-on, discovery centers/play-based program, along with a mix of small-group and individualized instruction focused upon whole-language, math, science, the arts and project-based learning
- and most importantly, social and physical development in our Senior Nursery (ages 3-4) program. You'll need to have previous experience working with groups of preschoolers ages 2-3, 3-4 and or 4-5
- could be as a preschool teacher, paraprofessional, student teacher, summer camp counselor, part-timer, assistant teacher or similar role
- and be eager to be part of a talented teaching team as you lead them to provide both great learning opportunities and patient, loving care for each of our students each and every day.
- -although your degree need not specifically be in early childhood education, as we provide on-going professional development opportunities.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$37,500.00- $41,500.
