Job Description Job Title:
Part-Time Childcare Opener Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable, caring, and energetic Part-Time Childcare Opener to prepare our childcare center for the day and provide a safe, welcoming environment for children and families during morning drop-off. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young children and is available during early morning hours.
Responsibilities:
Open the childcare center and complete daily opening procedures. Greet children and families warmly during morning arrival. Supervise children in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. Set up classrooms and prepare learning materials and activities. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom. Assist with breakfast or morning snacks, if applicable. Follow all health, safety, and licensing regulations. Communicate effectively with parents and staff. Support teachers and other staff as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (required). Previous childcare experience preferred. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and actively engage with children.
Schedule:
Part-time Early morning hours (example: 6:30 a.m. - 12:30 pm ) Monday through Friday (or as scheduled)
