Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans that align with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and social skills Create a nurturing classroom environment that supports child welfare, behavior management, and classroom management strategies Conduct assessments of child development to tailor instruction and support early intervention when needed Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share progress, address concerns, and foster positive relationships Manage classroom routines, transitions, and activities to ensure safety and promote active participation among children Incorporate special education techniques and adapt lessons for children with diverse learning needs Maintain accurate records of student progress, standardized testing results, and mandated reporting laws compliance Qualifications Valid certification as a Preschool Teacher (P3) or Early Childhood Education credential from an accredited program, or Teacher CEA Proven experience working with children in preschool settings with classroom experience in early childhood education Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and classroom management practices Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and literacy education strategies Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
