Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to support the developmental and emotional needs of children in our care. This role involves creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children of various ages, including toddlers and preschoolers. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, a strong understanding of childhood development, and a passion for early childhood education. This position offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on children's lives while fostering their growth and learning. We are currently looking for availability between the hours of 5:45am-8:10am and substitutes to be on call for call outs for the hours 1:45pm -6:00pm. Duties Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times during care hours Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and hygiene practices Support behavioral management strategies to encourage positive behavior Engage children in educational play and teaching activities aligned with early childhood education principles Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and daily experiences Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment suitable for children's activities Provide special care for children with disabilities or special needs as required Administer first aid when necessary and follow health and safety protocols Qualifications Prior experience in childcare, daycare, or classroom settings preferred Knowledge of childhood development stages and early childhood education best practices Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with parents, children, and team members Ability to manage behavior effectively and foster a positive learning environment Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children Relevant experience in toddler care, infant care, preschool activities, or caregiving roles is advantageous This position is ideal for individuals passionate about nurturing children's growth through engaging activities and attentive care. Pay:
