Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and passionate Preschool Dance Teacher to inspire young children through the joy of movement, music, and creative arts. In this role, you will design engaging dance activities tailored for preschoolers, fostering their physical development, creativity, and confidence. Your enthusiasm will help cultivate a positive learning environment where children can explore their love for dance and performing arts while developing essential skills in a fun and supportive setting. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate dance lessons that incorporate movement, music, and creative expression suitable for preschool children Lead lively dance classes that promote physical activity, coordination, rhythm, and self-expression Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for all students Lead parent and me classes for toddlers Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and fellow staff to monitor student development and tailor instruction accordingly Skills Strong background in curriculum development with a focus on creative arts instruction for young children Proven experience working with children in preschool or early childhood education settings Expertise in teaching dance instruction, choreography, ballet, dancing techniques, and performing arts Knowledge of classroom management strategies to foster positive behavior and engagement Ability to integrate musical instruments and teach basic instrumental performance within lessons (bells, shakers, tamberines, small drums, and triangles) Experience with behavior management techniques and childhood development principles Excellent communication skills Join us to make a meaningful impact on children's lives by nurturing their love for dance and the arts!
