Job Description
KinderCare is seeking Teachers for our Old Tappan center to nurture and educate young children in a safe, engaging environment. In this role, you will design and lead developmentally appropriate lessons, support social-emotional growth, and maintain a warm, inclusive classroom. You'll partner closely with families, communicate progress, and uphold health and safety standards. As part of KinderCare's collaborative culture, you'll receive ongoing training, contribute to curriculum development, and have opportunities for career advancement in early childhood education. Responsibilities Create and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons and activities for young children. Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment. Supervise children at all times, ensuring their physical and emotional safety. Communicate regularly with families about children's progress and daily experiences. Support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through structured play and routines. Implement center policies and state licensing regulations. Collaborate with colleagues to plan programs and share best practices. Observe and document children's progress to inform instruction. Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
