Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment tailored to the developmental needs of infants. Your enthusiasm for early childhood education will help foster growth, curiosity, and emotional security in our youngest learners. Responsibilities Provide attentive supervision and care for infants, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote developmental milestones in areas such as motor skills, language, social-emotional growth, and cognitive development Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns Follow all health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures, to respond effectively to emergencies Document daily observations of each infant's development to inform individualized care plans Collaborate with team members to create a cohesive curriculum that supports early childhood education standards Requirements Prior experience working with infants in daycare centers, preschools, or similar settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and child supervision best practices Certification in first aid, CPR, including pediatric first aid is required or willing to obtain upon hire Familiarity with special education strategies and experience working with children with disabilities is a plus Strong communication skills for engaging with parents and team members effectively Ability to manage classroom behavior through positive guidance techniques and behavior management strategies Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to mandated reporting laws regarding child safety and welfare Join us in shaping the earliest stages of children's lives by providing compassionate care combined with enriching educational experiences.
