In this role, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of young children aged three to four years old. Manage classroom activities effectively, ensuring smooth transitions and adherence to daily schedules while maintaining high standards of behavior management. Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, classroom management strategies, and individualized support plans for children requiring special education or early intervention services. Follow mandated reporting laws and child welfare protocols diligently to ensure the safety and well-being of all students. Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development instruction, childcare best practices, and early childhood education trends. Skills Strong experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, demonstrating excellent classroom management skills. Knowledge of curriculum development principles across early childhood subjects such as literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori techniques. Familiarity with special education needs, early intervention strategies, and behavior management techniques tailored for young learners. Proven ability to plan lessons effectively and adapt instruction to meet diverse learning styles and developmental stages. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, colleagues, and specialists; capable of providing clear updates on student progress. Experience with classroom experience including toddler care, standardized testing procedures, tutoring strategies, and preschool teaching methodologies. Understanding of child welfare policies, mandated reporting laws, and best practices in childcare environments.
