Job Description

As a preschool teacher at Children In Need of Services, you'll create a fun, safe environment with a daily schedule designed to develop children's confidence and independence. You'll help guide these little ones through small group instruction as they grow their ability to absorb new content and understand increasingly complex information. (A teaching degree is not required to teach PreK but it is require for PreK Teachers to be enrolled in college part time by January towards an Early Childhood Degree through a scholarship provided to Early Childhood Educators in NM. Also, we provide extensive on the job training) Make a difference children's lives every day
- Spend your days building genuine relationships and connections with each child. Being the difference maker in each of their lives.
- Help children learn about language and literacy, science, life skills, and more.
- Work with your co-teacher to implement the lesson plans from which you will create through observation of the children in your classroom.
- Maintain a well-kept classroom that is safe, while encouraging children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence.
- Discover how each child best learns, as you teach them about the world around them.
