Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare provider and Assistant to join our team in providing a nurturing and educational environment for children. The ideal candidate will support the daily activities of the daycare, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children while promoting their development through engaging activities. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about early childhood education and childcare. Duties Assist in supervising children in a safe and caring environment. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. Support children with various needs, including those with disabilities, ensuring an inclusive atmosphere. Provide care for infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed. Maintain a clean and organized daycare space, ensuring all equipment is safe and sanitized. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Assist with first aid procedures when necessary and maintain accurate records of incidents. Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive team environment. Qualifications 3 years of experience preferred Experience in preschool or daycare settings is preferred. Knowledge of special education practices is a plus. Familiarity with first aid and CPR certification is highly desirable. Previous experience in nannying or childcare roles is beneficial. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with children of various ages. A passion for educating young children and supporting their individual needs. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Will provide training if needed.
