Job Description
Job Summary Join our vibrant Historical Preschool as a Part-Time Aftercare Teacher, where you will play a crucial role in nurturing and guiding young minds and hearts. In this dynamic position, you'll provide a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for children in the afternoons, between the hours of 3:30 and 5:30. as you make art, implement creative activities, play with children, and foster social skills among toddlers and preschoolers. If you want a part-time position and are excited about making a positive impact in the lives of children and their families, we want to hear from you! What you'll do Supervise children and help maintain their physical and psychological safety. Actively engage with children in both free play and structured activities. Develop and implement engaging aftercare activities that promote learning and creativity. Foster a nurturing environment that encourages social interaction and emotional development. Manage classroom behavior effectively while ensuring safety and well-being. Collaborate with parents and staff to support each child's unique needs. Basic qualifications Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
