Float Teacher - Join Our Little Lites Family! Little Lites Christian Learning Center We are looking for a self-starter, dependable, energetic, and caring team player to join our Little Lites family as a Float ! As a Float, you will play an important role in supporting our classrooms and teachers throughout the day. You will be responsible for providing teachers with scheduled breaks and stepping into classrooms to help maintain a safe, loving, and engaging environment for the children. What You'll Be Doing Provide teacher breaks throughout the day while maintaining a positive and engaging classroom environment. Step into different classrooms and confidently pick up where the classroom teacher left off . Provide a variety of materials and resources for children to explore, manipulate, and use during learning activities and imaginative play. Attend to children's basic needs, including feeding, dressing, toileting, and diaper changes when needed. Help children learn basic skills such as colors, shapes, numbers, letters, personal hygiene, and social skills . Establish and reinforce age-appropriate rules and classroom procedures to help maintain a safe and orderly environment. Organize and participate in activities that encourage children's physical, mental, emotional, and social development, including games, arts and crafts, music, movement, and storytelling . Observe children's behavior, development, interactions, and overall well-being and communicate important observations with the classroom teacher. Help maintain clean, organized, and welcoming classrooms. Work cooperatively with teachers and staff to provide consistent care and support throughout the center. Be flexible and willing to work with children of different ages and in different classrooms as needed. What We're Looking For Self-starter who can recognize what needs to be done and jump right in.
