Responsibilities Design and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum that aligns with educational standards and promotes active learning. Lead daily classroom activities, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children. Observe and assess each child's progress, documenting developmental milestones and communicating findings with families regularly. Foster positive behavior through proactive guidance, conflict resolution, and social-emotional support strategies. Collaborate with colleagues to plan team activities, share best practices, and continuously improve program quality. Maintain compliance with licensing regulations and health and safety policies at all times. Engage families through regular communication, conferences, and community events to build strong partnerships supporting children's growth. Experience Prior experience working with preschool-aged children in an educational or childcare setting is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to develop engaging lesson plans tailored to diverse learning needs. Strong understanding of early childhood development principles and age-appropriate teaching strategies. Excellent communication skills to effectively connect with children, families, and team members. Certification in early childhood education or related field (such as CDA or equivalent) is desirable but not mandatory; relevant experience can also be considered.
