The Preschool 1:1 Assistant provides individualized support to a designated student in the preschool program to ensure full participation in all classroom routines and activities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to an assigned student throughout the school day, including arrival, dismissal, classroom activities, therapy sessions, specials, and outdoor play.
• Assist with toileting, diapering, feeding, and hygiene according to the student's developmental level and IEP needs, following all health and safety protocols.
• Support the student's participation in academic, play-based, and social activities, encouraging independence whenever possible.
• Implement behavior support plans, reinforcement systems, and strategies as directed by the teacher or behavior specialist.
• Monitor the student's engagement and help them transition between activities smoothly and safely.
• Other duties performed as needed
