Duties Assist with supervising children during playtime, meals, naps, and structured activities to ensure safety and engagement Support teachers in implementing age-appropriate educational programs focused on childhood development and early learning skills Help maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that promotes safety and learning readiness Engage children in developmental activities that encourage social skills, creativity, and curiosity Communicate effectively with parents regarding daily activities, progress, and any concerns to foster strong relationships Follow mandated reporting laws to identify and report any signs of neglect or abuse promptly Support classroom management strategies to promote positive behavior and respectful interactions among children Skills Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings Knowledge of child development principles and age-specific caregiving techniques First aid and CPR certification (including pediatric first aid) to ensure immediate response to emergencies Strong understanding of behavior management strategies and classroom management techniques Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members Familiarity with special education needs and experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus Demonstrated patience, compassion, and enthusiasm for working with young children in a caregiving environment This role is ideal for passionate individuals eager to support early childhood growth while developing their skills in a dynamic daycare setting.
