Job Description
Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Lead Teacher to guide our early childhood classroom. In this role, you will be the primary driver of the classroom experience. You will design engaging lesson plans, ensure state licensing regulations are met, and mentor assistant teachers. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in child development and a track record of running a well-organized, positive classroom. Responsibilities Design and execute weekly lesson plans that meet early learning standards and engage young minds. Direct daily classroom activities and establish consistent, comforting routines for the children. Supervise, guide, and collaborate with assistant teachers and classroom aides. Ensure the classroom strictly adheres to all health, safety, and state childcare licensing regulations. Track developmental milestones and maintain regular, supportive communication with parents. Cultivate an inclusive, play-based environment that supports social and cognitive growth. Lead parent-teacher conferences and address any behavioral or developmental concerns proactively.
