Preschool Teacher

Job Overview Preschool 3 Classroom Teacher St. Thomas the Apostle School is seeking a nurturing, energetic, and experienced Preschool 3 Classroom Teacher to join our early childhood team. This full-time position plays an important role in creating a joyful, faith-filled learning environment where our youngest learners can grow socially, emotionally, spiritually, and academically.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Position Overview The Preschool 3 Teacher is responsible for leading a developmentally appropriate program that supports early learning through play, structured activities, and meaningful relationships. The ideal candidate fosters a classroom atmosphere that reflects our Catholic values while helping children build independence, curiosity, and confidence. Responsibilities Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities Support students' social, emotional, and early academic development Maintain a safe, positive, and organized classroom environment Incorporate faith-based values and kindness into daily interactions Communicate regularly and professionally with families Collaborate with fellow teachers and school staff Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (required) Prior experience teaching in an early childhood or preschool setting Strong classroom management and communication skills Warm, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children Commitment to supporting the mission and values of Catholic education Preferred Experience in a faith-based school setting St. Thomas the Apostle School is a welcoming, family-centered community dedicated to academic excellence and faith formation.
