Job Description
Kiddie Academy of Farmingdale is looking for a Lead Teacher in our Preschool classroom. Lead Teacher . . . Individual MUST have an CDA / Associates/Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field to be a Lead Teacher. Year round Position. Immediate Start Monday
- Friday 8:30am
- 5pm / Paid Vacation/Sick Time/Holidays MUST have previous experience working with toddlers.
General Duties:
- Responsible for the welfare, health and safety of the children in your classroom
- Responsible for daily attendance records
- Potty Training
- Training and constructive utilization of assigned staff members
- Maintaining a clean and well organized classroom
- Providing the children with proper developmental activities
- Encouraging creative and constructive use of materials in classroom
- Uphold Center quality standards
- Follow all safety and health rules
- Keep the environment safe, clean and attractive.
- Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.
