Assistant Teacher We are looking for a reliable, caring, and responsible Assistant Teacher to join our daycare team! We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with children and can help create a safe, fun, and nurturing environment. We are looking for someone interested in a long-term position who can grow with our daycare and become a dependable part of our team. Schedule Monday-Friday 10:00 AM-6:00 PM Qualifications Must be reliable, punctual, and dependable Must be fluent in both English and Spanish Must enjoy working with children and be patient, caring, and attentive Previous childcare or daycare experience is preferred CPR & First Aid certification is preffered Not currently certified? We can provide the required training at no cost to you. Completion ECETP childcare training is a plus Don't have the required training yet? We can help you complete the necessary training at no cost to you. Must be willing to complete all required background checks and employment requirements Must be looking for consistent, long-term employment Responsibilities Lead learning time, circle time, and playtime with the children, including age-appropriate educational and interactive activities Supervise and actively engage with children throughout the day Help with meals, nap time, bathroom routines, and daily transitions Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom Complete very light paperwork and basic daily classroom documentation as needed Communicate respectfully and professionally with children, parents, and other staff Help create a positive, loving, and welcoming environment for our children Work together with other teachers and staff to keep the children's daily routine running smoothly What We're Looking For We would love someone who is dependable, energetic, patient, caring, and comfortable taking initiative with children. Most importantly, we're looking for someone who wants to stay with us long-term and become a trusted part of our daycare team.

Pay:

$18.00 per hour
