Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant childcare team as a Daycare Assistant and become a vital part of creating a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment for young children. In this role, you will support early childhood development by assisting lead teachers in implementing educational activities, ensuring proper care, and fostering positive interactions with children. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help lay the foundation for children's growth and learning during their formative years. Responsibilities Support classroom activities by helping implement lesson plans focused on childhood development, preschool education, and age-appropriate learning. Assist with daily childcare routines including feeding, diapering, nap times, and hygiene to ensure children's comfort and safety. Engage children in play-based learning activities that promote social skills, creativity, and cognitive development. Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, including sanitizing toys and materials regularly. Observe and document children's progress, behaviors, and needs to inform ongoing care strategies. Collaborate with lead teachers and caregivers to manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement and effective behavior management techniques. Ensure adherence to safety protocols such as first aid procedures and emergency response plans at all times. Skills Proven/ willing to learn an experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings. Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices for working with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Certification in first aid and CPR to respond promptly to emergencies. We provide certification classes Strong classroom management skills combined with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities. Ability to engage children through nurturing caregiving techniques such as babysitting or nannying experience. Familiarity with behavior management strategies that foster positive social interactions among children.
