Job Description
Di Edge Waterfront Bar & Kitchen is seeking an experienced, professional, and dependable Bartender to join our team. We are a casual-upscale waterfront restaurant and bar focused on quality cocktails, attentive hospitality, consistency, and creating an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate is confident behind the bar, works efficiently during high-volume service, maintains a professional attitude, and contributes positively to a respectful and cooperative team environment. Responsibilities Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and other beverages according to established recipes and presentation standards Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to bar guests Handle high-volume service efficiently while maintaining accuracy and drink quality Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked bar Complete opening, closing, and assigned side-work responsibilities Accurately enter orders and process payments through the POS system Monitor guest alcohol consumption and follow responsible alcohol-service practices Verify identification and comply with all applicable alcohol-service regulations Communicate respectfully and work cooperatively with fellow bartenders, servers, management, kitchen staff, and support staff Contribute to a positive workplace by maintaining professionalism and resolving concerns appropriately Assist with bar inventory, restocking, and notifying management of low-stock items Follow all restaurant policies, sanitation standards, and cash-handling procedures Qualifications Previous professional bartending experience is required Experience in a full-service or high-volume restaurant strongly preferred Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer Ability to follow house recipes and maintain consistency Strong multitasking, communication, and guest-service skills Professional demeanor and the ability to work well with different personalities Respectful, cooperative, and team-oriented attitude Ability to remain calm, organized, and professional under pressure Dependable and punctual Must be available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events Current ATAP or TIPS certification preferred, or willingness to obtain certification Compensation Hourly pay plus tips. Compensation will be discussed based on experience and availability. Schedule Part-time and full-time opportunities may be available. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required.
