Our client is looking for an energetic, organized, and inspiring leader to join their brand new preschool in Greenpoint , NY as an Assistant Operations Director . The ideal candidate must be a self-starter who has extensive experience within a licensed preschool. This is a Direct Hire position with the school Full-time; Monday - Friday; year-round employment Salary $50,000 to $80,000/year pending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience Benefits Health / Dental / Vision 401(k) w/ match Paid Personal/Vacation Days Paid Holidays Paid Sick Days Prenatal Leave Child-Enrollment Discount Professional Development Assistance Job Responsibilities - Assist the Center Director with the following: Assist with transitions for kids. Engage with new leads and families; conduct tours and participate in lead follow up. Participate in the enrollment process; schedule and collaborate with new family onboarding.
Demonstrates awareness of enrollment opportunities:
plan child transitions and review with franchisee, review and update class lists. Participate in marketing events and in-house events. Plan and monitor teacher schedules and hours, including lesson planning time. Assist in the classrooms as needed Participate in weekly leadership/admin meetings to align on school priorities, events, staffing needs and operational focus areas. Qualifications
REQUIRED
Minimum Education:
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field
REQUIRED
Teaching Experience:
At least 2-years of Early Childhood Education (birth to 5-years-old) teaching experience
REQUIRED
Certification:
Teaching Certification Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations - for Infant and Young Toddler classrooms, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib Must meet background check eligibility
