Job Description
Mandarin Speaking Assistant Teacher We are looking for a motivated candidate to join our Early Childhood Center, one who aligns with our play-based philosophy, has a strong work ethic, is a self-starter and enjoys young children. Candidate must work collaboratively, have excellent communication skills, and a willingness to work closely with families. Experience and knowledge of the Reggio-Inspired Approach is a plus.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment for children. Supervise children and maintain their safety as the first priority Assist with feeding, toileting, dressing, hygiene and diapering infants and toddlers. Collaborate with teachers in planning lessons and daily activities. Provide comfort to distressed children through compassion. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work and communicate with children, families, and colleagues. Must love children.Qualifications:
High School diploma, GED or International Diploma required An Associate/Bachelor degree is preferred, along with an Early Childhood Education background Must have over 1 year early childhood classroom experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work and communicate with children, families, and colleagues. Fluent Mandarin speaker able to plan activities for young childrenRequirements:
Maintain a nurturing and safe environment for children. Work in a diverse team environment Obtain fingerprints from DOI, pass a background check, maintain online trainings and a medical. Physical Requirements - Frequent sitting, standing, walking, talking, hearing, observing, changing diapers, cleaning up after meals, stooping, kneeling, crouching, & crawling. Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Must be authorized to work in the U.S.Schedule:
