A class of young children will be under your care. You will decide on the appropriate ways to educate and nurture them so that they can grow into independent, responsible, and happy young children. You will need to be able to work as part of a team as well as know how to lead a team for various events and projects. Your experience, knowledge and expertise will be highly valued in the implementation of centre programs, initiatives, and events. The safety and happiness of the children is rewarding work.Job Responsibilities:
- To plan and carry out age-appropriate activities according to the curriculum and teaching pedagogy approach of the centre.
- To cultivate a joy and love for learning in the children while working on helping them to achieve their learning milestones.
- Regularly update parents and partnering them by sharing with them educational techniques that can help their child develop holistically.
- Ensure that learning corners are set up every term and that the classroom is safe and conducive for learning.
- Implement class rules and teach the children values so that they can learn to work and play well with each other.
- Teach the children appropriate ways to manage and develop their social emotional behaviour and how to work and play well with their friends.
Requirements:
- Minimum with a Diploma or Certificate in Early Childhood Care & Education - Teaching (DECCE-T or CECCCE), Diploma in Child Psychology & Early Education - L1/L2
- GCE 'O' Level credit in English
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- A team player with passion in equipping and inspiring young lives.
