Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Worker/Teacher to create a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment for young children. In this role, you will support early childhood development by implementing age-appropriate activities, managing classroom routines, and fostering positive social interactions. Responsibilities Execute engaging activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development aligned with early childhood education standards Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and learning activities to ensure safety and well-being Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment conducive to learning and exploration Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive interactions and discipline when necessary Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, needs, and any concerns Assist with daily routines such as diapering, feeding, and potty training for infants and toddlers Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing individualized care when required Skills Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings Knowledge of childhood development principles and age-specific milestones Certification in first aid and CPR to ensure safety during emergencies Experience with special education or working with children with disabilities is a plus Strong classroom management skills to foster a positive learning environment Ability to handle challenging behaviors with patience and effective behavior management techniques Excellent communication skills for collaborating with parents, colleagues, and children Compassionate caregiving attitude combined with enthusiasm for early childhood education Join our team to inspire young minds and support their growth through energetic engagement and compassionate care!
Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
