    • The YMCA of Middletown is looking for an experienced Universal Pre-Kindergarten Lead Teacher, who strives to create a safe learning environment that enriches the future of our students.
    Ideal candidate is someone who can foster a learning environment that stimulates child growth and development while creating strong child and family relationships. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic with a caring and nurturing personality. A team player and great communicator as well as motivated, energetic and responsible. Come join our team! Responsibilities
    • Planning and implementing weekly lesson plans for the 2021-2022 school year.
    • Teaching strategies to document children's progress
    • Quarterly testing, recording and documenting results
    • Communication with parents/guardians Minimum Qualifications
    • Experience working with children under the age of 5 in a classroom/childcare setting
    • NYS Teaching Certificate (Birth-2nd Grade or Grades 1-6)
    • Bachelors/Masters in Early Childhood Education OR Bachelors in related field and currently enrolled in Masters in
    Early Childhood Education Job Type:
    Part-time

    - June/Monday-Friday 8:00-3:00pm
