The Daycare Assistant position is a year round position.

We are a licensed childcare provider that has been in business for over 20 years. We are dediccatd to creating a safe, nurturing and engaging environment for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old. Our mission is to support every child's development while offering peace of mind to parents.
Job description:
Daycare Assistant will be responsible for the well-being of the children under their care. They must be nuturing and patient. They must supervise the children to ensure that they play and interact with one another in a safe and appropriate manner. Some of their typical duties include: Ensuring the children have good hygiene and changing diapers as necessary Help create and maintain a safe, cleanand organized cclassroom environment. Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the kids Organizing and engaging children in age appropriate activities Developing a schedule for the children to maintain throughout the day Maintain accurate daily records needed Qualifications for position: Must be at least 18 years of age High School Diploma or GED Willing to complete early education trainings and workshops on a yearly basis Previous experience working with children preferably in a daycare or educational setting Must have own reliable transportation Must be able to pass background check Must be able to pick up 25lbs of weight Prefer individuals with CPR training and finger printing completed
