Daycare Assistant Teacher (Full-Time) About Us Sebastian's Little Friends Daycare is a warm, family-oriented daycare located in Rego Park, Queens. We are dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, play, and grow. We are looking for a caring, dependable, and energetic Daycare Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities Supervise and engage children in a safe and nurturing environment Assist with daily activities, learning through play, arts and crafts, music, reading, and outdoor play Help with meals, snacks, diapering, potty training, and nap time routines Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment Follow daily schedules and daycare policies Communicate positively and professionally with children, parents, and staff Support children's social, emotional, and developmental growth through positive interactions and encouragement Qualifications Experience working with children is required Previous daycare, preschool, nanny, babysitting, or classroom experience is preferred Bilingual English and Spanish preferred Reliable, punctual, and professional Strong communication and teamwork skills Patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic about working with young children Able to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Willingness to complete required background clearances and fingerprinting Schedule Full-Time Monday through Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Compensation $700 per week We are looking for someone who is dependable, communicates well, and genuinely enjoys working with children.
