Full time hours are 9am-6pm Monday - Friday. Part time hours are 12pm-2pm, 12pm-6pm or 2pm-6pm Monday - Friday. Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for preschool and toddler-aged children, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development through engaging activities and structured learning experiences. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote early learning in areas such as math, language, and social skills. Manage classroom activities effectively to ensure a safe and supportive environment for all children. Utilize behavior management techniques to guide children's behavior positively and constructively. Foster open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and share best practices. Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of children, including those with special education requirements. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom space that encourages exploration and creativity. Requirements A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred. Experience working with preschool-aged children or in toddler care settings is highly desirable. Strong classroom management skills with the ability to create an engaging learning atmosphere. Knowledge of Montessori principles or similar educational philosophies is a plus. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff members. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating initiative in lesson planning and classroom activities. Familiarity with behavior management strategies to support children's development effectively.
