As the cornerstone of early childhood education at our center, you will lead classroom activities, develop curriculum plans, and build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. Your enthusiasm for early childhood development and commitment to creating a positive learning experience will help children thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young children while working in a vibrant, supportive community. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote childhood development and early intervention. Utilize effective behavior management techniques to foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Engage children in educational activities that enhance their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills. Collaborate with colleagues to create a comprehensive curriculum that supports individualized learning needs. Provide attentive care and support to toddlers, ensuring their well-being and safety. Maintain a clean, organized, inviting classroom conducive to learning and exploration. Communicate regularly with parents to update children's progress and address concerns. Coordinate with the Daycare Supervisor on completing paperwork for both the PEDALS and CCQI Program. Open Parent engagement via Brightwheel Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. Maintain the center's policies and procedures. Must follow
NYS OCFS
Regulations Keep up with the OCFS required training. Keeping up with attendance records, health checks, student progress notes, and Brightwheel. Provide personal aide and care as necessary to students, such as help with hygiene, eating, and toileting (diapers). Complete other duties that the Early Learning Director and Office Coordinator assign for you to do All job duties may not be listed and are not limited to.

From $19.00 per hour
