Schedule:
Full-Time, Monday-Friday | 9:00 AM-6:00 PM The Learning Experience
  • Tuckahoe is seeking a flexible and dependable Floater Teacher to provide classroom support throughout our early childhood education center.
If you enjoy variety and working with children at different developmental stages, this role offers the opportunity to support Infant, Toddler, and Preschool classrooms while becoming a familiar and trusted teacher throughout the school. What You'll Do Provide classroom coverage based on daily staffing needs Support teacher breaks, lunches, transitions, and ratio coverage Work with children across Infant, Toddler, and Preschool classrooms Engage children in play, learning activities, art, music, and outdoor experiences Assist with meals, diapering/toileting, rest time, and daily routines Provide attentive supervision and positive guidance Maintain clean, safe, and organized classroom environments Collaborate with teachers and center leadership Follow applicable New York childcare licensing requirements Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Previous childcare, daycare, preschool, or early childhood experience preferred Comfortable working with multiple age groups Flexible, dependable, and able to adapt throughout the day Strong communication and teamwork skills Must meet applicable New York childcare licensing requirements What We Offer $19
